If it's not a poodle, it's just a dog!

It is believed that early neurological stimulation enhances puppy development. Originally called the "Bio Sensor" program, these exercises were developed by the U.S. military for their canine training programs to give the dogs a superior advantage. Their studies confirmed that there are specific time periods early in life when neurological stimulation has optimum results. Days 3 to 16 are one of those time periods.  With this in mind, each puppy undergoes a short "exercise" program each day.  You can read more about these exercises and the benefits of neurological stimulation at http://www.breedingbetterdogs.com/achiever.html.

Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to the Bio Sensor stimulation exercises. The benefits noted were:

1. Improved cardiovascular performance (heart rate).
2. Stronger heart beats.
3. Stronger adrenal glands.
4. More tolerance to stress.
5. Greater resistance to disease.

Because these neurological exercises are not a substitute for routine handling, play socialization or bonding, we also play with and routinely handle our puppies.  The result is a smart, happy puppy -- a super puppy!
